End of Year event

At our end of year event, we marked the conclusion of the second year of the Khalwa, reflecting on our achievements to date as well as our plans moving forward. Among the attendees were the Mayor of Barnet, Councillor Danny Rich, representatives from the Metropolitan Police, Boost, and IANL, as well as the parents of our students. The event featured a student-led play in which scenes were enacted to highlight the profound impact of our Qur’anic teachings in promoting proper interpersonal conduct. This was followed by brief talks delivered by leads from our community outreach programmes, including initiatives focused on youth Muay Thai and female self-defence classes.
The event concluded with the presentation of medals and certificates to students in recognition of their efforts, alongside the provision of meals for our honoured guests.

We also have projects and activities in place for the relief of poverty and distress.

We offer young people a safe place in their local community to mix with their peers. It also gives them a feeling of belonging in their community. We are aiming to prevent them from getting involved with any sort of criminal activities by taking them off the streets.
